I'm Sofia, a UX Designer and Researcher.

🎯 I believe that as designers, we can make a real impact with our work. That's why I love delving into user experiences and advocating empathic and innovative user-centered solutions.

👀 My background is in Industrial Design Engineering and Human-Computer Interaction, but my journey started unconventionally. After high school, I initially pursued Chemical Engineering. But, I also applied to a one-year program of studies abroad. Fortunately, I was accepted and got a spot in Italy. During my time there, I studied, lived with a wonderful family, enjoyed the food, and discovered my passion for Industrial Design, which set the course for my career.

🧰 I enjoy using my UX “toolbox” to address topics such as making education accessible through technology (especially for marginalized groups), sustainability practices, and AI.

☕ Outside of my professional life, I am an enthusiastic lover of houseplants, enjoy nature, attempt hiking, and can never resist a good cup of coffee.
